This blog is a scramble of random ideas and happenings. Perhaps the thing that most ties it together is that almost every entry stands alone. I don’t craft wonderful articles or think deep original thoughts and then stun you with my brilliance or even necessarily keep you updated on my life. I write about whatever I feel like writing about. It’s mostly meant as a few minutes of diversion for me with the hope that maybe you’ll find something to amuse you, too.

I graduated  from a public university with a BA in Liberal Studies (June 2008) and have since worked a few jobs and spent time helping out at home.  In Fall 2009, Lord willing,  I’ll be starting a teaching credential program at a Christian college located 45 minutes away. I live in Southern California with my large family. After almost 15 years in a rural neighborhood and lots of goats, chickens, orphan kittens, dogs, and borrowing a horse or two, we moved “into town” in the spring of 2009, to have more space and shorter travel times to church and other activities.I love to read, swim, play board games, blog, figure out how to live healthily, and spend time with family and friends.

Jesus saved me from all my sins, made things right between me and God, and promised that I will spend eternity with Him. Because of this, my life’s purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. I stumble every day but Jesus picks me up and continues to sanctify me through His grace.Resolved, that Jesus not be merely my first priority but that He be in everything I do so that I can truthfully say and know that for me, living is Christ and dying is gain.
